Yes, they’re sponsoring this post but seriously if these kids didn’t have their snacks and milk, I’m sure you would have a different video to watch. You know I have a few mom tricks up my sleeve, and this video was made possible by Horizon Organic snacks and milk. I sat down with her and had her help me come up with her goals for the week. Although it is getting better, it has been a struggle with this girl. One major thing I have in the back of my head, though, is that I want to help her tackle her picky eating habits. I also think it’s important to keep her involved in the process because will take more ownership of it. Things are never set in stone, and if she is struggling with something, we can put it down on the chart for that week. The idea behind this weekly chart is that her goals and responsibilities can change from week to week. The sheet has five blanks in it, so we could start small and go up all the way to 5 if we wanted. I came up with a little weekly chart and had it printed and laminated, so we can write on it with a dry erase marker each week. In order to make this important to her, it needs to partly be her own ideas. She gets that instruction every day at school. Kennedy’s at the age where she understands responsibilities and jobs. I think she can start doing some simple things like feeding the cat and finally tackle her picky eating habits. Since it’s the new year, I thought it was an appropriate time to start giving her some goals and responsibilities for around the house. She is a smart cookie who is full of energy, weird jokes (seriously, she has the silliest sense of humor), and love.Tod It’s hard to believe that Kennedy is four years old. I’m so proud of what a big girl she is, and how much she is learning and growing. Disclosure: This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Horizon Organic.
